Fetch Data can’t find my show or movie
Confirm a metadata source is selected and that any required credential is saved. TVmaze needs no credential but covers TV only. Clearer filenames also improve local matching and online disambiguation.
OMDb says “not found” but the title exists
OMDb returns the same no-results response for a genuine miss and an invalid key. Double-check the saved key or try TMDB.
Windows or macOS will not open the installer
The current builds are not code-signed or notarized. Follow the exact installation steps for SmartScreen or Gatekeeper.
Can I undo a rename?
Yes. History can move files back after Move or remove outputs created by Copy and Symlink. Undo never overwrites another file.
Does Aurora Curator need the internet?
No. Matching, renaming, checksums, SFV, Filter, and List are local. Fetch Data and Subtitles are the only optional network features.
A naming field is blank
An undefined field renders empty. Check the field reference to see which values require metadata, probing, or Hash Files.
